Nestled in the heart of Venice Beach, this home originally belonged to the Pindler family. Preserving its integrity while upgrading the overall design was a big part of our mission. We updated the galley kitchen. The fireplace, originally red brick, was whitewashed to endorse this "old sand" appearance so typical of Venice Beach. The original paneling in the living room and dining room needed a new "light" figuratively and literally; a custom-designed handmade glass table and pendant lights brought the much-needed ether-like impression. The bamboo style on some furniture is reminiscent of that Endless Summer/"Dogtown" vibe from the late 70s.
